Alone…..

A lone Agapanthus, dripping with raindrops, stands sentinel beside the track leading down to Breaker Bay. We had very heavy rain overnight. There was quite a swell stirring up the seas and waves breaking noisily on the shore of Breaker Bay. Despite heavy showers I did my usual walk, armed with an umbrella.
Margaret packed up her gear and some of mine into Emily’s vehicle and they left camp around lunchtime…. Emily to Nelson Airport (Heading back to Auckland.). And Margaret drove back to Blenheim for the night. Steve leaves for Nelson tomorrow night. We were visited by Alyson and Grant, camping friends from way back, this afternoon. Great to see them both.
