Dead Car

A quiet Saturday morning. V is working today. Milo stayed at Liv’s overnight because she is catching the train back to Nottingham today for university. I had very little sleep last night… poor Gubs had a minor car crisis in Whitstable. He’d been chatting to his friends in the car and listening to music for a couple of hours without realising how much this would drain the battery, and needless to say, his car wouldn’t start. Fortunately, after several phone calls and resting the battery for an hour, we got the car going, but it was well past 2 am before he was home. Luckily, I could chill for the rest of the day and sneak a nap in the afternoon to catch up on some sleep. 

The weather was gorgeous in the morning, with blue skies and a bright winter sun… so I took the opportunity for a quick drive and a stroll in the countryside near Staple and Ash. On our last walk, I found a few photogenic spots that I wanted to revisit.
