Bear claws

Marks in an aspen tree seen on our snow shoe walk today. Old marks the tree has healed the gashes that went all the way to the top. A cool start at below -15c and warming to a high of -4c. We enjoyed our walk I took husband on the one I did yesterday so he could experience it too.
