Bernard's Hill, Bridgnorth

This afternoon Mrs I wanted to shop in Bridgnorth, and I walked around the precinct of Bernard's Hill. 

It is a really interesting area with housing set into terraces rising up the hillside, and overlooking the river and High Town.

This shot is where I paused for a breather, looking back down the alley with the High Town skyline in the distance 

There are steps.

Lots of steps.

Later I met up with the good lady, helped load the shopping into the car and we went home for tea, and TV.

And chocolate eclairs
