Daft Plant

It has no idea if it should flower at Christmas or Easter ..... and it has no idea when either of them are, so it just flowers randomly throughout the year.
However, I like the flowers and think they are great for shooting close up and with dramatic lighting.

I got up and it was really dark, bleak skies and there was a thin coating of snow on the ground.
By breakfast time, it was clear blue skies  ... and snowing!!

The shops were open today .... Hooray so we got some food for the weekend and a bit beyond.

SWMBO had a bit of a brain f*rt this afternoon and on her own volition sorted out some clothes to go for charity .... so I joined her and put together a bag of my excess clothes. She also decided that they were to go to a different charity (good for her) so we went and put them in the clothing bank outside the fire station in Polbeth where the money raised goes to assist the services members and their families where both physical or mental health need help.

Edit - No watching our 'Wee pal' Nina Nesbitt singing on the Burns Night concert. She was one of SWMBO's Brownies .... a lovey lass. I photographed her first 'public' performance at Penicuik High school. She has moved on a bit since then ... touring with people like Justin Bieber, Stevie Nicks and Ed Sheerin (who wrote a song about her).
