Found Some!

We were both feeling below par this morning. S. is in week 3 of the flu and I suddenly felt ill yesterday and have milder new viral symptoms too despite certainly being the one who first had the flu at the turn of the old year.
Decided felt well enough to go to Colchester to pick up my new glasses that cost the price of a week’s holiday. On the way back we visited Waitrose (for first time ever ) and nabbed the last haggis and a veggie haggis plus beeps and tatties for burns night.

Walked around the garden in the blue sky and inspected for signs of spring. Happy to discover the first snowdrops.

Tighnabruaich is still without power or mobile signal. Our neighbour kindly messaged us from the top of the hill to say no more trees came down and the tree surgeon confirmed he has cleared our tree. Lucky to have such a supportive community there.
