the future's ...

they were technically a week early for the 12th, but when i went out of the office for a break mid-afternoon there they were, marching along the street. from the noise, i thought it was a big march, but it wasn't. the police didn't even bother stopping the traffic, just kept it flowing around them. made them look like a right sad bunch, to be honest. i know i love nostalgia and tradition and so on, but orange marches which are not in ireland and/or filled with irish prods rather puzzle me, to put it politely.

slightly rubbishy shot, but i'm sure someone will be as amused as me by the bus in the background ;-)
