Faded

After the wind yesterday the car and the windows needed to be washed to get rid of all the salty residue. It was chilly but Callum got several layers of warm clothing on and got outside this afternoon.

Whilst the warm soapy water was in a bucket, he also washed the hedgehog family, as they are really faded now and we’ve got some all weather brown paint waiting to use and give them a bit of oomph back.

Whilst he was outside I was tucked up in the warm. Firstly a FaceTime chat with Greg trying to get his energy bills sorted out. He’s only been there 6 weeks and already the utility company wants to increase his direct debit. 
Even though it says on the front page of his account that they need a minimum of 8 weeks before they can predict what his payment might be. I told him to stand firm and refuse the increase. So he’s going to ring them on Monday.

Then getting dinner prepped and then a video call with Nicoiseannie. We had our usual catch up and the hour was over in a flash.

I’ve just come back from giving Vinnie a quick round the block walk. Honey has gone on a longer one with Callum but I do like to get out and stretch my legs, so although Vinnie is quite happy with just a morning walk, he didn’t put up too much fuss when I popped his collar and lead on.
