Laughing Like A Drain

This colourful character is Debs, one of the many people we have got to know and regard as friends through Park Run, giving this morning’s briefing to Visitors and First Timers (they were thin on the ground today) with the board which helps explain the vagaries of the course.

Her personality is as colourful as her outfit, always friendly, helpful and laughing. She and Tess always run around together whenever Debs can make it and the standing joke is that you can hear them chatting before you actually see them.

As you can see it was a crisp, sunny morning for a run.

Apart from a brief walk before lunch, the rest of the day has been rather lazy, though I have got a green lentil dahl on the go to accompany the defrosted turkey and aubergine curry, while listening to Yeovil capitulate away at Rochdale, conceding 4 goals in the second half after a fairly even first half.
