Youngest

With the changes in validity rules, the rumours about how long it takes to get a new one and the number of trips I've got planned this year, I've been stressing about the best time to replace my passport for a while. Although it had about another 10 months to run (until it's 10 year anniversary, it didn't expire until next year) I didn't want to risk not having one or getting stuck in the summer rush.

I must say I was VERY impressed (and pleased I didn't pay for fast track) to get my new one (and the old one back) today bearing in mind I only completed the online application on Tuesday and sent my old doc off on Wednesday. Now I just have to remember which airlines have my details and update all my API and reservations. 

A slp slidy parkrun today, with completely the wrong shoes on. For some reason I didn't factor last night's rain into my outfit when I got up and had my least grippy road shoes on. It was slightly reassuring that not only was I about 2 mins slower than usual but so was the first finisher. And I still got 1st Old Lady (first in my  age category, which I have another year in before I move from being the oldest to the youngest).
