Daffs And Shadows….!!

My very kind neighbour (the lady who looks after Mel for us) always buys herself and several of us neighbours a bunch of the first Spring Daffs when they arrive in the shops..!

Well Storm Éyown has blown in and out…pretty noisy during the night..
Altho’ not for me as when I take out my hearing aid I hear nothing!!!
However,  Mel had the hubby up before 6am banging in the kitchen door..
She wasn’t really freaked but just wanted company…
Thankfully we had no damage at all…except the polytunnel in next doors garden was wrecked although I don’t think torn!
And we are also very fortunate here as we don’t lose the ‘lectric as all our cables are underground!
And as I’ve said my daughter is here ..so we had a quiet day ..some home cooked food and drank some wine and I forgot to Blip..
So,  Happy Saturday to all…
We’ve had a mad frost and the sun is shining…!!
