Tea
One of things I like about having my hair done at Taylor and Taylor at Liberty’s which I shall do as long as I can is that they give you tea from a pot in proper china, mismatched vintage cups. It makes so pleased every time.
It was a day of pleasure all round.
I went up mid morning and met the head of the new company I’m joining for lunch at Clipstone, a lovely small restaurant in Fitzrovia that I was pleased to see is thriving. The food was delicious and simple culminating i a blood orange sorbet with perfectly segmented blood oranges in syrup on top. Exquisite. Ed had to dash for a zoom but doubled back to make sure he got the last mouthful of sorbet that he was preparing to abandon.
Then wandered back to Liberty to pick up something I’d ordered before a civilised train home. Dinner cooked by V and the last ep of Rogue Heroes that frankly was spinning plates until they could leave for D Day and series 3. Sat on the sofa and read more of Orbital which is wonderfully absorbing.
