Oops!

After work I drove straight to the station to catch the tube into town.  I was there to meet my friend B to watch a candlelight concert.  Back in December she had booked to take me as a birthday treat but due to her dog being knocked down a couple of days before she couldn’t make it so I went with Lucy.  B kindly rebooked for tonight.  Tonight’s string quartet was playing Coldplay hits and very good it was too.

She also treated me to dinner at Cote on the Southbank afterwards. I felt very spoiled.  The evening finished with B heading off to Waterloo to meet her daughter who she is staying with for the night and I crossed back over the Thames to catch my train from Embankment.
