Gender roles

Having taken this shot this afternoon, probably attracted by the colours, I now find it quite intriguing. Do women prefer to lay about and let the men do all the men's work, or is it that the men refuse to let them do the hard bits, like standing at the front shouting orders, or standing at the back with the steering bit? Maybe the woman just crashed out with sheer boredom, never being allowed a shot at the tiller? Or maybe she just wants a good tan on her legs.
