After the storm

Well Storm Eowyn has left - it was definitely a wild night! We've been lucky really, our only casualty was the Christmas tree that was beside the front door - we found it down the road this morning, but minus the terracotta pot that it had been in. There's no sign of the pot at all, not so much as a broken remnant! 
However the Alphabet trees are minus 4. There were originally 26, there have been 25 for some time, and now there's only 21. They're quite old - N remembers them as fully grown trees when he was going to school in the 60's. There are a lot of trees down, the village was cut off for a time with trees blocking all the roads in. 
Here's hoping everything gets sorted quickly!
