Quite a day. No power from 11am and not expected back on until midday tomorrow.
Strong winds which actually dislodged ridge tiles on the roof…one of which slid down the roof and crashed to the ground outside the kitchen window. At that moment I was in the kitchen looking out of the window.
We survived with candles, torches and a camping stove.
