We came through intact, but one of the trees in this picture will need to come down as it swayed so much it lifted its roots, we're pretty amazed it's still standing, it had us worried for a while.
My plan to travel late worked, local roads in Cumbria had clearly been chaos with chainsawed trees everywhere, but once past Preston it was plain sailing all the way to Bangor.
