Storm Eowyn

...has raged all day. Howling wind that nearly bowled me over when I tried to walk the woofer. He was terrified and turned round within mere moments. We've tried 3 times so far but the outcome has been the same. 

This afternoon Shona and her woofer Ruby managed to walk here through the wind and rain,  and neighbours, Gillian and Steve joined us making six folk and two woofers for an enjoyable couple of hours of tea and chat. 

The storm has not abated. The noise of the wind and beating rain is constant and dramatic. Storm Eowyn remains resident in Arbroath tonight.
