Winds & Rain

Little Man had nursery this morning. So we got ourselves ready and off we went. It was very gusty and thus made it rather challenging to bike the short distance to and from the school. I don't know if the wind and rain we had today was caused by the tail end of Storm Éowyn, which is currently battering the Scottish and Irish coast, or just a case of typical Dutch winter weather, but it was definitely unpleasant. Thankfully we didn't need to go far. There was a story time for the kids, which the parents were welcome to attend. Little Man got a bit too distracted by me being there and ended up not paying a lot of attention to the story. We then came home.

We had a quiet afternoon and an early dinner. I dropped off a meal for our friends, Angela and Teun. Their daughter was born yesterday and some of the mums have sorted out a rota for the meals so that Angela and Teun don't need to worry about that. They're only a few minutes bike away so we took the bike (safer due to the lights on my bike making us more visible to traffic in the dark).
