Ready for Takeoff!

I watched this Tuftie hop from branch to branch on a bush outside my bedroom window.  It was hard to photograph him between the branches but then he prepared to takeoff, lowered his tuft and assumed an aerodynamic pose.  Perfect!  I was able to get the wee glint in the eye and even a bit of shine on the beak.  I will be taking off in a few hours too as I head to Massachusetts to visit friends and deliver the last Christmas presents of the season.  The weather looks good and I'm really looking forward to seeing them.  Prepare for takeoff!
