All among the blooming heather

I went walking with the Friday women along the ridge of the Black Mountains which leads to the Revenge Stone (scene of Dastardly Deeds) and then along a Bronze Age Super-Highway to this cairn, Garn Wen (White cairn), where we had lunch. We didn't get too close to the cairn as it looked as if there was a bees' nest in there.

Lots of heather. Scudding clouds but no rain. Great walk.

The seed heads yesterday were bluebells!
