Kotoreke, Marsh Crake

Great excitement in local bird photography groups, a Kotoreke, Marsh Crake has been spotted at a local wetland.  Tiny bird, I had expected it to be about the size of a magpie but a fellow photographer compared it to the size of a pied stilt chick.  Super fast in movements, I have selected this image of many because it shows it's huge feet.  They enable it to wander over really swampy ground.
