In the pink!
I received lots of beautiful flowers on my birthday. I really should get my macro lens out and take some decent shots, but for today, this will have to do.
Didn't sleep well as my hip was achey again. Took painkillers so that eventually let me sleep and I woke at 10.15am! Pottered about upstairs and eventually went for my shower. By the time I got downstairs D had left to go to St Andrews for his dental appointment. I'd half thought about gone with him for the drive and chance to take photos in St Andrews but I slept too late and he quite rightly left me to sleep.
Soup and ciabatta roll for lunch then some more crochet animals for Orla's bunting. Just need the other yarn to arrive to let me give character to the blank animal faces.
Messaged pal Peter who is due to visit this weekend. This is our third attempt to get together this month with the previous two times been scuppered by the freezing, icy weather. This time it's Storm Éowyn! He wasn't due to arrive here till lunch time on Saturday so I'm hoping the wind will have gone by Saturday lunchtime and he could head up early afternoon. If not, Sunday lunchtime might be ok. Fingers crossed.
Dinner than the penultimate episode of The Traitors. Suddenly it gets interesting :-)) After a shaky start, I have enjoyed this series much more than I thought I would but still don't really care who wins. That said I will contradict myself and say I know who I don't want to win :-)
Hope all of you in the Amber and Red Alert areas of Storm Éowyn stay safe. We have battened down the hatches. I've been reading about supermarkets selling out of bread, milk, loo roll and water in areas of Fife. Really?!!! It's a 24 hour thing! The stupidity of some people knows no bounds!
