More than slightly foxed

I've been hunting - unsuccessfully - for a really ratty old mirror for ages, then over Christmas, by chance I discovered that a friend has a whole collection of them, and she kindly allowed me to borrow one.
I have had a photograph in mind for a long time, involving dead roses and an old mirror. This isn't it, but it is a first foray into the theme.
