New angle

This was nice to see out of the window - not that early, 08:55, but actually only about half an hour after the sun had risen. The first time this year I've seen the sun reaching this tree in the corner of the square.

Went for a meeting with a couple of local worthies re our deputation next week - all seemed fairly straightforward. Popped up to Tesco afterwards and they had obviously had some fridge malfunction - all the chiller aisles were roped off and the staff were emptying the contents of the shelves, presumably to be thrown away. And that's the day before the arrival of storm Eowyn, when we're to be braced for power cuts, structural damage, etc etc. 

We got a loud alert sounding on our mobiles around 6pm, telling us about the storm in case we didn't know already. Schools all closing tomorrow in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and no buses in Edinburgh during the day. Heads down, folks!
