Seen on our walk

Day off to attend the memorial for Mr H's step-grandfather, who died after suffering from dementia for many years. It finished early afternoon, and we decided to have a walk on part of what was once called Exhibition Drive, and mor recently has been called (by many runners, including internationally famous runners trained by Arthur Lydiard) The Pipeline. 

When we got to the start of that part of my old long training run, I chose to head the other way, never having been there before. On our return S spotted this beautiful flower almost overwhelmed by other plants
