A different calling

As I walked into the staff room I recognised the surgeon sitting there.
“How’s the film business going?”, I asked.
Then we spent the next ten minutes chatting about his second (or third - he also had a covid testing business for film studios) career as a film maker.
He’s on location in south London for three weeks filming a ‘film noir’ low budget production.
It’s like surgery is his day job to fund the stuff he’s really into.
