Taco Truck

When I used to work in Southern California in the 80's, taco trucks (we called them "Roach Coaches") would drive around to businesses so people could buy their mid-morning coffee or lunch. Since then, food trucks have taken off and gone up-scale. Portland, Oregon has a huge food truck scene with at least 50 such trucks serving all kinds of ethnic fare.

Some trucks have set up twitter accounts so one can track down their favorite truck wherever it is around town.

I thought it was brilliant that my friend hired a Taco Truck to her birthday party. The carnitas tacos were delish and it was a fun way to cater the party.
