Calm before the storm!

At 6 pm our mobile phones went off with a piercing ring. It was the red weather alert and associated information sent out by the Scottish and UK governments to anyone within the anticipated danger zone. Up to 100 miles an hour winds forecast where we live! 
The college campuses are closed tomorrow, so are the schools, there will be no trains, buses, ferries, many businesses have also decided to stay shut. Let's see what happens.
Today was certainly very peaceful. No wind, even some sunshine and it's a clear sky out there at present.
