I went to Bitts Park in Carlisle this morning to see if there were any of the early flowering Rhododendrons out.  Saw quite a few buds and they should flower in the next couple of weeks.  Some buds had frost damage too which is quite normal.  Will have to go back.  As it wasn't raining I stopped off in Finlandrigg Woods on the way home for another walk but after about 10 minutes the rain arrived. 

Not looking forward to the storm heading our way tomorrow.  Also had an emergency weather alert on my phone a short while ago warning about it.  Gave me quite a shock as I wondered what on earth was happening to my phone making that very strange noise!
