Let sleeping dogs lie

It's been a dodging showers day.  There has been some sunshine interspersed.  

Took the hound for a long morning walk in dry weather.  Phone app stated we'd been out 22 minutes when we'd been walking for at least an hour so I'm not relying on it.

Made a lemon drizzle cake during the afternoon's rain.

I'm having to rely on an emergency blip of the hound in post-dinner repose.

This week has disappeared rapidly.  

I was impressed by the American Bishop Mariann Edgar Buddes's sermon.  Brave woman.  Good to see.

Batten down the hatches against Storm Eowyn .
