Clackmannan

Since the knee hadn't suffered from Tuesday's walk I thought it was a good idea to take it out again using the old what doesn't kill you principle. A short drive to Clackmannan for a fairly flat walk to Clackmannan Tower (pictured) and from there to Alloa Tower and back. Naturally, it started to rain just as I reached the furthest point from the van so I donned my waterproof bin bag and trudged along.

There's nothing finer at the end of a walk in the rain than to find a little cafe with overcooked lorne sausage, floppy bacon and instant coffee. Bloody delicious. Home for a little snooze in front of the fire then I'll cook dinner and head out to the pub. It's Thursday after all.
