Dragonfly

This dragonfly flew in through the open glass doors at the back and got caught against the transom. M is very good at picking up hapless insects in the house and getting them to the relative safety of the garden and he was about to do that but I asked him to wait while I took a photo. I had a helluva time trying as I had to get on a chair and still couldn't look through the viewfinder. Anyway I took a couple of snaps and gave it up. M did the rescue and off the dragonfly flew.

When I looked at this photo I couldn't understand what was going on. Eventually I worked out that the dragonfly was reflected in the glass. With some faffing I turned it a bit abstract.
