A Day Out

Little Man doesn't have nursery this morning so I decided that it would be good for us to get out. When we walked to the bus stop I'd planned that we'd go to Woerden, however, I ended up changing my mind. We'd taken the train from Bodegraven and was going to just get off in Woerden, however, the next stop, after Woerden, was Utrecht Central Station. Little Man loves trains and was pretty excited to be on the train., so we went to Utrecht. We had a lovely time.

When we got to Utrecht Central, I saw a Starbucks pop-up shop. They were giving out free samples of iced coffee. I decided to go in and give it a try (it was delicious). They had a prize wheel, which I thought would be fun to try. I left with a new mason style cup for iced coffee.

We also got some shopping done that I would have done in Woerden. Some food, toilet paper, nappies, refills for my Bolsius ClearLight Holders. We then spent some time hanging out at central station, so that Little Man could watch the trains. He's going through a phase of being obsessed with trains. The driver of our train back to Woerden gave Little Man some stickers when we stood on the platform to wave the train off.

We got home and unpacked the shopping. I got the fire started and after something to eat. I got Little Man ready for bed. He went down without a fuss.

My life group met here. There was only five of us, as the rest of the group weren't able to come. It was lovely. Though I was exhausted when they left.
