Sea love
There was a lot of rain today but I managed to swim in the sea when it wasn’t. The waves were a little rough but it’s so shallow, I wasn’t worried despite not a soul in sight.
The others went off to Nicosia again for meetings. I swam, walked up the coast with a small picnic, found a bench and read.
This is not the kind of thing I’ve done before. It’s a strange but good feeling to be doing it now though.
The others came back. We celebrated the received confirmation that our hosts cultural heritage charity is now recognised and set up, and then went out for a meal with a local ‘dignitary’. There was stuff on a hidden agenda that reminded me of what it was like when Elbows was in central politics - the way conversation is slowly steered in a direction to get to what the social engagement is all about really.
Awesome local fish. Sea bass, a prawn the size of a plate, and white fish that was just dreamy.
So loved the sea to swim in and to eat from :-))
