Tapas night

Dropped Phin at daycare after his breakfast and headed to the shops to pick up a wedding present for my neighbours daughter. Very last minute as she and her partner are tying the knit this afternoon.

Found my go to present of a lovely wooden cake stand and whilst in the shop managed to pick up an oversized white shirt, a nice black cardigan with sparkly buttons and a black neck jumper for a bargain price.

Wrapped the present and popped next door where I was handed a glass of Prosecco and invited to watch the makeup artist getting all the ladies ready.

One of our neighbours drives a white taxi and he’d decorated it with ribbons to take Helen and her dad to the city chambers. We watched them head off looking very smart in their respective outfits of a lovely simple empire live wedding dress and a full kilt outfit.

We packed our bags and headed off to pick up Miss PHL as we had a date to eat tapas with our son and his wife in Dundee. Dinner was delicious and we then had a scenic drive through the country roads back to their house. A good catch up on all that’s going on in their lives before we called it a night.
