Euston Station

Often the pianists at Euston are a delight but this one tops the lot so far. Meet Captain Fantastic who was promoting his tour playing Elton John songs. He certainly looks the part, even down to his wedge shoes and he’s good! He made so many people smile.

It was a perfectly timed bit of cheer as I’ve spent my day in a clinic in London completing the final tests for joining a drug trial. And thank goodness I’m in. The type of breast cancer I have is particularly difficult to treat and the trial gives me access to a new immunotherapy that I can’t get anywhere else. It’s a phase 2 trial so hopefully the worst elements have been ironed out. It’s been an exhausting day but now I’m settled into a decent hotel before the real action kicks off tomorrow at 8.30am. Then home on Friday after a 24 hour post meds blood test.
