Redditch and Needles

Went to a funeral in Redditch today. I estimate around a 100 people attended the service of a much loved and respected man from Alcester.
The Blip was taken in the Crematorium Waiting Area. I assume the Singer was a reflection of Redditch’s manufacturing heritage in needles.

The rest of the day was involved a quick trip to Stratford upon Avon and then more admin at home.

Managed to book a holiday for late September flying from Birmingham. Our first flight in five years. Early flight so looked for a hotel at the airport with a parking deal. Found an incredible deal and booked only to find that having paid for the night the hotel chain did not complete the transaction giving a message that the transaction did not complete because of an error and I would get a refund. I went back in to the website ( this is a major chain ) and the deal had now gone up by £50. Decided to try again but the hotel took my money but did not complete/confirm the transaction. Phoned the Hotel central booking team. They confirmed my original quote but could not process the transaction even using a different card. Tried to transfer me to Client Services but they had just closed. Went back on line and the offer had disappeared completely :-{{{{
