Looking south

A very cold night and a thick frost this morning, followed by a glorious day. I went out with a new friend who wanted to visit some holy wells. She had been to all the easily accessible ones so we had to go off piste a bit, squelching over bogginess and marvelling at the views. This is looking out towards Dunmanus Bay, crystal clear today, and the extra is looking inwards up onto the hills - note fairy tree.

I fear it is the lull before the storm which the press are really biggifying - hopefully the worst will be over by Sunday when we travel up to Dublin.

And thank you so much for the response to yesterday's selection - I think we can all agree that fog bows are pretty special.
