From a distance!

We had a lovely wander this afternoon .... we even saw a little sunshine at times! Hooray! 

Life seems so much better when the sun shines :-)

We saw lots of Redshank in the fields .... busily hunting in the puddles ... too far away for a photo though.

We climbed onto the riverbank at the far end of the road ..... we saw a Little Egret & a Heron both fishing .... but they flew off before I could get a photo!

I did manage to get this very distant photo of one of the Redshank when it landed across the other side of the river.

Not the best image as it is heavily cropped ..... they didn't seem interested in landing near us!
