Carn Galver Mine

After typing up yesterday's minutes and doing some tasks I decided to get some fresh air.

The buildings of Carn Galver Mine were made famous by their inclusion in the opening sequence of the 1990s television detective drama series "Wycliffe", which I used to watch avidly, spotting places and even people known to me. This afternoon I strolled around the engine houses then took the path to Bosigran cliff (my extra shows the view from the cliff). While sitting on a rock there I heard the distinctive "chee-aw" calls of choughs (but I didn't have my binoculars with me).
