We shall not cease . . .
. . . . from exploration.
I don't think any blipper is likely to stop exploring.
Today I have been again playing with paper and exploring different ways of making books and of using handmade paper.
The book is made using Khadi paper - I used to use Khadi books for scrapbooks and have lots of bits left over. The other paper here is a selection from a box of paper I have - mostly pieces I have made in the past, with some I bought in Thailand and South Africa. I was always keen to visit anyone making paper wherever we were. The piece with the well-known poetry is from papermaker in Northumberland.
I loved making paper and can remember at college we had a huge vat of pulp to which we added bits and pieces and pulled out sheets. I have probably told the story of my daughters and I making paper, which we coloured blue with serviettes, and then made lots of sheets which eventually became wedding invitations.
I doubt I will make paper again although I still have all the equipment and I still collect bits of waste paper to make into pulp. However, one needs an old food processor (one used for food cannot be used) and I would hesitate to try plugging in the one I used to use - it is very, very old and has been sitting in the damp garage for many, many years. It would probably blow up. Anyway I already have a lot of paper to explore with.
