Beauty is all around us.

A vase of beautiful roses and carnations.

The Feast Day of Saint Vincent of Saragossa. Martyr. Patron saint of Portugal, Valencia where he died in 304, Spain and vine growers.
Today has been quiet and enjoyable.
It is 3c and feels like 3c. It has rained but very little and the air is cold and damp. It is misty, and Pendle Hill and Hambledon Hill have been veiled by the low visibility. It is forecast to be 1c later in the day. Indoors is pleasant and warm. The garden birds are singing as the sky brightens before the sun sets.

I went to buy our I newspaper and took a copy of The People's Friend to my friend Jenny.
At 8:30am a delivery person brought Paul's new engraver kit. It was from Amazon, £30, and can be used on wood, metal or glass. It has drill settings and 5 is the loudest drill sound, no worse than the sound of a dentist's drill. He is learning initially how to engrave on strong small pieces of wood, which he bought from The Range. I think Paul shall enjoy this new skill.

I did some washing and Paul sorted the drying and then did the ironing. I planted some little Queen Fabiola bulbs in the big flowerpot where the white Jasmine is hopefully going to regenerate in the garden. I am not sure as yet what colour or appearance these bulbs will display.
The roses in today's photo were a wonderful surprise yesterday from Jean who lives nearby. She is a kind cheerful Methodist.
I hope you have a good Wednesday blip friends.
