It Takes Two

...to capture Maggie, get her into her carrying case and off to the vet, but three to get a photo of her! 

Maggie ruled the day. She had a vet appointment for 11:00 and despite all my efforts to hide that from her, she picked up on some of my less-than subtle clues and dashed off upstairs to hide under the bed. She is quite aware that I am unable at the moment to reach that far and she was right! Such a clever cat is Maggie. 

Well, she won that round; I had to call and rebook her appointment for late afternoon when I could call in reinforcements ie: Elaine, my personal cat-catcher. Even Elaine had to struggle to drag her out from under the bed and when she did, Maggie tore out of her grasp and dashed right into her carrying case that I was holding open at the door! Caught! 

So in the end, Maggie did get her needles, but note in the extra photo that it took two to do it!  One of the staff there likes to take photos of the pets and to send home a copy to post on the fridge. I warned them that Maggie is not amenable to having her photo taken and will turn her head away when she sees an iPhone being held up anywhere in her vicinity. And she did just that...but the frustrated photographer did not give up, and after many tries, finally captured an image of her that was worthy to post..on our fridge and on Blip (extra)
