A beautiful day

Martin and I had a beautiful start to the morning, with an early morning walk along Portobello Promenade. It was lovely to see all sorts of people going about their business, from dog walkers, school kids, and just people out for a walk, just like us.

Back home now and we have just made bagels with cream cheese, bacon and mango chutney as a treat for our exertions.

I had a bit of sad news yesterday from one of my friends who has cancer, and it reinforces how it is important it is to enjoy each and every day, live for today, as you never know what’s round the corner.
