The Big Blue

I was pretty busy with one thing and another yesterday and managed to avoid most of the news about the insanity across the pond.

Stupidly, I casually browsed the BBC website this morning and was immediately hit by a tsunami of Trump-based articles and details of Elon Musk performing a nazi salute (make no mistake that’s what it was). I can’t think about it all too much, it is just too depressing and of all months, January is the one least in need of assistance in depressing people.

Because Trump is a narcissistic psychopath (and has apparently chosen to surround himself with others just like him) he makes great copy, so unfortunately he will once again dominate the news cycle for the next four years, which is also far too depressing to really think about.

I turned my attention instead to Big Blue who was in for his service and MOT today, so I was up and out early to pop him to the garage around the corner and promptly spent the day wondering what had fallen off him and just how many mortgages I was going to need to pay the garage bill, but as it turned out, I was pleasantly surprised and Big Blue is road legal for another year. The wee ones will be relieved.

Nice chat with the parents this evening before crashing out in front of the box.

Any form of energy seems to have evaporated from me!
