Morning
Up early and it was very misty and headed back to bed. Juno up for breakfast and then we headed out.
Parked the car and met a gamekeeper and had a chat about the best route up the hill. He was great and pointed us to the gate through the deer fence. Juno and I headed up the hill looking at the new mixed native woodland planting.
A reasonable view with clouds clearing off the big hills.
Back down and we headed round to another wee hill. A pleasant start in lmature larch and scots pine. A family of woodpeeckers flew around.
The summit was crowned with a trig pint and Juno and I sat for a while enjoying the warming weather. The flies were annoying her.
Back at cottage the girls are out for a bit of target shooting and archery.
