'Hosier Lane & a blipmeet'

A very early start in the office this morning as I wanted to take the afternoon off to show our visiting blipper around town a little bit.
We met up under the clocks at Flinders Street Station as scheduled even though his flight into Melbourne had been delayed and he'd only just arrived in town and virtually directly from the airport.
First stop was a visit to Basement Discs to take in a free lunchtime concert by Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, I thought their music would have fit perfectly into a Tarantino Film.
Then on to Melbourne Central to see the shot tower under the glass pyramid and to have a quick bite of Thai for lunch, walked back to Hosier Lane and shot a couple of images, over for a brief look around The Shrine of Remembrance, then a quick drive down to have a look at Princes Pier and around the outskirts of the city.

A true Melbourne weather day today too, with all four seasons passing through at least a few times including rain, sun and wind. You learn quickly to dress in layers here.

Another early stat in the morning followed by watching a game of footy at the 'G'. Our Hawks are playing the Tigers and I'm expecting a crowd of around 65,000 at the ground.

An early night is in order for me tonight.
