Very inquisitive - the steers rushed over to me when I looked over their gate.  The hand reared ones still have a link with people as they were fed milk by them when young.  In a few months when the ground is dry and the  new grass has grown they will be let out into the fields.

Another grey muddy day.  The lane at the top has been closed for the past couple of days while the council have been doing something to relieve the flooding on the road - apparently!  I did find a way down to the village shop despite all the Road Closed and confusing Diversion signs.  By the time I went to Tchai Tchi Qong this evening they had been cleared away.
