New project

So, along with my vintage fabric quilt I am also starting a hand sewn slow stitch project book. I think I am going to call it ‘up my garden path’ - a voyage of discovery’. It will be a mixture of mixed media slow stitch and embroidery and show case vistas of my garden and the plants and wildlife I have found there.
This is for my first page - The view from my conservatory door. I want it to have some impression of perspective, so I am making the background up using strips of linen sewn by hand in a log cabin pattern.
